Mandira's Kitchen achieve 'Plastic Free Champion' accolade!

Plastic Free Guildford is delighted to award the food producer a Plastic Free Champion Award! The award is given to companies who have made an effort to remove or replace at least three types of single use plastic from their business.

Mandira's Kitchen, as well as being committed to creating authentic and delicious Indian meals also aspire to be a no single use plastic site as far as possible. Takeaway food is provided in paper bags and picnics come in insulated cases and steel flasks.

Future plans include changing their freezer boxes from polystyrene to eco-friendly cardboard.
